Community organizers!
Grassroots Efforts, Powered by the Blood, Sweat and Tears of Organizers are the Driving Force Behind Societal Change. As a TONE UP organizer you will Land and receive the training that will equip you with the tools to engage with our formerly incarcerated community in a relational manner. You will learn how to tell your personal stake story in order to deeper process your experiences and connect on a genuine human level with our community. As an organizer, you will make contact with People at their doors and be the most important point of contact to many Justice Impacted Community members when it comes to introducing and welcoming them back to our Democracy and Society at large.
To ensure your success as an Organizer you should have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for learning and seeing progressive change in our Community and the Criminal Justice System.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend & Participate in Trainings.
Walk door to door and around a specific turf, speaking with individuals, possible driving but not required.
Approach people outside and on the sidewalk.
Work closely with other Team Members.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent interpersonal skills.
A Desire to be Your Best Self.
Strong Communication Skills.

Ability and Desire to work.
Ability to work outdoors.
Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
Passion for progressive issues, racial justice, and public safety improvement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Lived Experience with the Criminal Justice or Immigration System.
Has Family with Lived Experience with the Criminal Justice or Immigration System.
BIPOC
Bilingual (Spanish, Hmong, Somali, or Oromo).
