T.O.N.E. U.P. is a Minnesota-based reentry organization providing support, education, and leadership development for formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted individuals rebuilding their lives.
Founded by Antonio Williams, T.O.N.E. U.P. is rooted in lived experience and the belief that people deserve meaningful opportunities to move forward after incarceration.
Reentry involves more than paperwork. Housing, employment, legal barriers, mental health, and community belonging can all shape a person's journey. Our work connects people with resources, relationships, and opportunities for lasting personal growth.

Our programs help formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted Minnesotans navigate barriers, develop leadership skills, and build connections that support successful community reentry.
Through initiatives such as the Liberation of Leaders Fellowship, Clean Slate Act navigation, and From the Block 2 the Ballot, T.O.N.E. U.P. creates opportunities for learning, advocacy, healing, and personal development.
We lead with lived experience, accountability, and community. Whether someone is newly released or navigating challenges years later, connection and support matter.
Record Expungement & Legal Resources
Minnesota's Clean Slate Law
Your past should not define every opportunity ahead.
A criminal record can create barriers to employment, housing, education, and professional licensing, even long after a sentence has ended.
Minnesota's Clean Slate Law provides automatic expungement for certain eligible criminal records. Eligibility depends on the record and applicable legal requirements.
T.O.N.E. U.P. helps community members learn about available resources and navigate questions about record relief and reentry.
