Katie Pierson

Katie Pierson is a strategic communicator, writer, and editor with extensive experience helping organizations and their audiences envision and achieve community-engaged definitions of successful communication. She values trusting, long-term relationships with diverse audiences; and builds them through active, humble listening and a warm sense of humor. She uses her BA
in American History from the University of Pennsylvania and her MA in American History from the University of Minnesota to analyze the big picture while holding the small details. She works at the University of Minnesota helping adolescent health researchers translate their work into policy and practice.

Katie has two young adult daughters, and lives with her partner, Jon, in the Twin Cities.
